Haines Model Revolver-Was the Haines Model revolver ever manufactured? What were its good points over the Colt Single Action?
No, this arm was never manufactured. For some reason unknown to anybody else the revolver makers would not take it up. The gun was to be made on the lines of the Colt Single action, but in smaller size-.38 Smith and Wesson Special caliber, and .32 ounce weight-and was to have a swing out cylinder with simultaneous ejection of shells, like the modern double action revolvers.
