Ground Hog-Description of-What does a groundhog look like, what do they live on, do they den up in winter and is their fur worth anything? What does a fresh water clam live on, as I want to put some in an aquarium?

The groundhog or woodchuck is an animal of heavy build with short legs, neck and tail. When full grown it will weigh from five to fifteen pounds or more, depending on the variety. It has no fur, but a coarse hair of grizzly color, sometimes reddish on the sides and under parts. Its food consists almost entirely of grass and clover. There is no market for the skin. I don’t know what clams live on.
