German Carp, Bait-I would like to ask what kind of bait to use to catch German carp, and what time of the year do they bite best? Do you fish on the bottom of the pond for them?

A common red worm or a dough-ball makes a good bait. Fish in the summer, early in the morning and late in the evening. Bait the place well the evening before fishing with bread crumbs rolled between the hands and fish on the bottom. The carp is shy and you must be careful to keep out of sight, and do not splash the water. Some fishermen throw worms into the water while fishing to attract the fish to the spot. There is no danger of over feeding.
