Fox-How to Capture in Den

Fox-How to Capture in Den-I recently found a fox den in a brush pile and I would like to catch the fox. The den has three entrances. How shall I proceed in order to make certain of securing the fox?

You should first be sure that the fox is in the den, then dig him out. There is little probability that the animal will attempt to escape while you are digging, but if you wish to be sure what he will not escape, you can stop up two of the entrances while you are at work on the other. In most localities foxes only spend an occasional day in the den, so it is best to be sure that the fox is at home. You can only be certain of this when you have tracked the animal to the den.
