Flasher
Flasher (Triple-Tail, Black Perch, Grouper, Black TripleTail, etc.): Caught on medium tackle with clam and shrimp bait from the St. John's River to Massachusetts. Is abundant about Charleston, from June to September. Occasionally small specimens are taken in the lower part of Chesapeake Bay and off New Jersey. Rare, small individuals have been taken off Long Island. Weighs up to ten pounds.
