This is a recipe for elk roast.
You take a good size elk roast and brown the outside really well. After this you slice up 3-4 loaves of garlic and make slits into the roast on all sides. Slice up the garlic and insert it into the roast about an inch. Then place the roast in a large frying pan or pan then put it in the oven with a quarter of the skillet full of water. Set the oven on 250-300. Leave this in for 2.5 hours. Then remove the pan and put in your choice of vegetables (carrots, potatoes, and celery). After you put these into the pan, fill the pan up with water until it is almost full. Put this back into the oven on the same heat for another 2-3 hours as needed. Then FEAST!
