Eczema-I have three hound pups that have little sores under their legs on the body and on their sides and they scratch them very much. It is not lice for I have looked them all over. I do not know what eczema looks like.
Doubtless eczema and the regular advertised remedy for this ailment should have desired effect. The usual eczema symptoms are as follows: The hair sacs or follicles become inflamed and assume a reddish color. The belly and insides of thighs are first affected and unless checked at once the inflammation spreads rapidly and the hair drops out from affected follicles, in which latter purulent matter forms and exudes which has a very offensive odor. The disease is usually caused by damp or filthy kennels, improper food such as too much fat, etc., but is also contagious-a microbe parasite and, therefore, all old bedding should be burnt.
