Once again, my cousins got some bad hunting luck. We were still-hunting deer in lake butler Florida again, and he was in the same climbing stand as before. This time, he remembered to make sure his gun was loaded, but he still missed his deer. After a few hours of being in his stand, a nice looking 8 point snuck out of the brush in front of him. (8 points are nice in Florida) He did well taking his time getting his gun up quietly, but he took too long to take the shot. While he was sighting in on the deer, the feeder automatically went off, and scared the buck away. My daddy always says, take your time but don’t take too long! The sooner you can get a good shot, take it. My cousin ended up getting a small doe later that day. -Madison Fox and Cason Houser
