DISEASED—I recently shot a rabbit and when skinning it I found three large swellings. They seemed to be blown up with wind and very hard with blotches of yellow matter or substance underneath the skin of the swellings. The swellings were on the hind legs near the rump; also one on the side near the hind leg. What caused this? Would the meat be good to eat?
This is a disease, and the meat is no good.
