DISCONTINUED MAKING THE 6 M/M Rifle—Is there a 6mm rifle made in lever action and is the Brayton Auxiliary Cartridge made for this caliber, also for the .28-35 caliber?
No, there is no lever action rifle made fur this cartridge and as far as I know there are no other rifles now made to handle it. I believe that the Lee Straight-Pull rifle, at one time made by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co., and the Remington-Lee, formerly made by the Remington Arms Co., were the only rifles ever made in the 6 mm caliber; anyway. The Brayton Auxiliary Cartridge was never made for this rifle as there is no pistol cartridge of the same caliber, but it is made for the .25- 35 and uses the .25 Colt’s Automatic cartridge.
