DEFECTIVE SPRING—I have a .44 caliber Marlin rifle soil the cartridge will not come out of the magazine quick enough. It will only be half way out when it should be In the carrier ready to go up to the barrel. I would like to know if it can be fixed,
Yes, the gun can be fixed, but it would be impossible for me to say just what is wrong with it. It would seem that the magazine spring is too weak and a new spring may be necessary. The trouble may also be in the carrier. Anyway, you should be able to locate the trouble by looking closely.
