COON TRAPPING—What is a good raccoon set for use here?
The water set is not very good as the coons don’t go in the water much. You can trap them at the den trees if they live in trees there, by leaning a pole against the tree and setting a trap on the pole, as explained in Science of Trapping, but I have never done much trapping for coons away from the water, as I never knew coons to stay away from the streams. Baited sets may be made on dry land, also, the same as in water.
