Colorado License Laws-Is it necessary, in order to comply with the game laws of Colorado, for a non-resident to have a license to hunt and trap there? What kinds of furbearing animals are found in that state?
The game laws of the State of Colorado require all non-resident hunters to take out a license, costing $10.00, but no license is needed for trapping. The furbearing animals are bears, grey wolves, coyotes, foxes, badger, mountain lion, mink, wild cat, otter, skunk, beaver, and perhaps a few marten. It is unlawful for trappers to use the flesh of any game animals for baiting traps.
Game Laws and Licenses-When the questions under this header were answered the laws were in effect at that time, but as the laws change somewhat each year and 1913 laws especially, some of the answers here given maybe incorrect.
