Civet cat-to these animals den up during cold weather and what do the tracks look like?
We have received a number of letters regarding civet cats, practically all alike. These contributors for the most part say that the animals do not den up but several say they do. The tracks resemble those of the skunk but are smaller and the animals jump like a mink, but walks sometimes like a skunk. They are really a species of skunk and are trapped in the same way as that animal. It is not necessary to cover the trap.
