CHILLED SHOT FOR DUCKS—John A. Fried, Cottonwood Co., Minn., would like to know what lead to use for ducks coming towards him.
In answer I will say that I have shot ducks for twelve years and never had any trouble. I shot alt kinds, in very shape, even brought down blue-bills flying towards me against a heavy wind. All you need is a good gun and any good brand of smokeless powder. For lead I use No. 5, 6 or 7 1/2 chilled. Try them and you will have no trouble.
