How to effectively call
To many hunters new to turkey hunting go out into the woods and try to have a conversation with the turkey. You may get a response, but you are very unlikely to call a turkey into shotgun range. Instead, you want to lure the turkey in, giving it just enough calling to let it know that you (another turkey) are there, but not enough to raise its suspicion. Tease the tom with spaced out calls and make him come to you to investigate.
