Do you prefer to carry your cartridges in a belt, but refrain from doing so because they slip out and are lost? A strip of rather thick leather sewed on the belt a short distance above the loops will help hold the cartridges in. This is not an absolute insurance against loss, but it helps.

To carry cartridges in a belt make for cartridges of a larger size lace a leather thong or thick string through Ħbe loops. If there is still too much room, trace back again so as to cross the strings.
