A quality pair of boots can add to your comfort and ultimately your success in the field. The normal method for breaking in a new pair of boots is to simply wear them until they are comfortable, this unfortunately takes time, time you may or may not have.
The Faster Way
Get the boots wet, I mean really wet, not just damp, they need to be soaked. Stand in a full tub, run the garden hose on them for an hour, fill them with water, use them as a drift anchor, just get them really wet. Once they are good and soaked, simply wear them until they are dry. It is that simple, as you wear them the leather begins to mold around your foot, as they dry they will hold the shape. Its that easy, comfortable, not really, fast, yes, they will fit perfectly.
