British Columbia Hunting and Trapping-I am contemplating a hunting and trapping trip in British Columbia and would appreciate a few pointers on the best part of the province for that purpose.

The most important furbearing animal of British Columbia is the marten which is found in good numbers in most of the wilder parts. We believe the best locality is on the headwaters of the Fraser River, in the Caribou District. It is also a good section for caribou.

Another very good locality and especially for lynx, is the country lying directly north of Kamloops on the Clearwater River. Some good territory is also to be found in the southern part near the Washington boundary and the new Grand Trunk Pacific Railway will open up some virgin territory in the northern part of the province.
