BRITISH COLUMBIA, CLIMATE
BRITISH COLUMBIA, CLIMATE—What kind of a climate has British Columbia and what kind of clothing could one wear there?
British Columbia has a varied climate; the coast being mild and wet, because of the warm Japan Current and the high mountains of the interior, which halt the rainclouds and cause them to “unload” on the coast. Up in the mountains it is very cold and the snow falls to a great depth. The clothing to wear there would depend on what part you were going to, and the season of the year. It is a question that would require a lengthy answer; therefore we cannot answer it here. Camp and Trail Methods gives valuable suggestions on outdoor clothing.
