BEAD FRONT AND PEEP REAR—Which of these two sights will be best for a Model 1892 Marlin. .22 caliber rifle—the Marble’s Flexible Rear Sight or the Marlin Combination Receiver Sight? Can I use the Rocky Mountain front with these or must I get a new front sight?
The Marble’s sight is best if you are looking for a peep sight, as it stands closer to the eye, and the peep sight is at its best only when in that location. You cannot find a better sight. A bead front sight should always be used in connection with the peep rear. A medium sized bead of either gold alloy or ivory is what you need.
