Beaver Castors-Where Located-Will you please tell me where to find the castors of the beaver. I have examined several beavers and cannot find anything that looks like them.

This question has been asked and answered repeatedly and in one of the back numbers I gave a complete description of the beaver castors and their location, with drawings of the same. When you skin a beaver look through the fat on the under part just in front of the pelvic bone and you will find two hard, rough, salmon colored glands. These are the castors.
