B.B. Caps vs. .22 Shorts-Is it true that B.B. caps lead a gun quicker than .22 short? Are they as accurate at short range as the .22 short?

I think they are as accurate as the regular short cartridge at very short ranges, but they will not shoot as accurately as far as the .22 short. It is a wise plan to use in a rifle of any caliber only that cartridge that the arm is chambered and rifled for. If you do use the B.B. Caps use those with conical bullets and clean the rifle often, especially the cartridge chamber, but I will not advise the use of any B.B. I have often wondered why the manufacturers continue to make these cartridges, as the .22 short is small enough for any use.
