Barreled Action generally refers the rifles and is a combination of 2 of the 3 main parts of a rifle, the barrel and action, the stock being the third. Barreled actions can be purchased already assembled, or you can purchase an action and mount a suitable barrel to it. The barreled action is then inletted into a stock completing the rifle. The final headspacing should be completed by a competent gunsmith if you do not fully understand what you are doing.
