Arkansas Trapping Laws-I want to trap and hunt coons along the way to pay expenses. Will I be allowed to trap after I cross the Mississippi River? Would I be considered a resident as soon as I entered the state, or would I have to live there awhile first?
I would advise that you take up the matter of game laws with E. V. Visart, State Game Warden. Unless the law has been repealed since this time last year, non-residents may not hunt, trap or fish in the state, and I believe that one must reside in the state six months before he is considered a resident. There are also special county laws.
Game Laws and Licenses-When the questions under this header were answered the laws were in effect at that time, but as the laws change somewhat each year and 1913 laws especially, some of the answers here given maybe incorrect.
