All-Around Rifle-I want to buy an all-around rifle for small game up to and including foxes and wolves. Which will be best-a .30-30, .32-20 or .32-40? What make is best? Do the Marlin, Standard and Remington firms make automatic rifles in these calibers?

Of the Calibers of rifles mentioned the .32-40 will come nearest “filling the bill” for all-around use. All the repeaters of this caliber are good. It is not made in the automatic style. The .30-30 is made in the automatic action by both the Remington and Standard companies. The Marlin Firearms Co. do not make automatic rifles.
