ACCURACY OF THE CARBINE—Will a carbine shoot as accurately and kill as far as a rifle of the same caliber with the standard length of barrel?
The carbine is slightly less accurate because of the shorter distance between sights and it is possible that the trajectory is higher and the range a little less than that of the longer barrel, but for hunting purposes the advantages of the short barrel counterbalances these faults. In hunting there is little difference noted in the killing range.
