| | The ability of a firearm to place all shots into a small cluster. As distance increases accuracy decreases. Many things influence accuracy in a firearm including: barrel condition, barrel temperature, condition of the bore, and whether the firearm “likes” the load being shot. Accuracy for a hunting rifle should be 2 inches of less at 100 yards. Accuracy does not take into account shooting at point of aim, but rather overall group size.
