.38 CALIBER TOO LARGE FOR GEESE
.38 CALIBER TOO LARGE FOR GEESE—Is the .38 caliber Winchester repeating rifle too large for such game as foxes, geese, ducks, woodchucks, hawks and crows?
Yes, I consider it too large for such game, although if you already have one of that caliber, you can use it, but I would not advise the purchase of a new arm of that kind for such game. The .25-20 or the .32-20 will be more satisfactory.
