.35 AUTOMATIC—Is the .35 Automatic Winchester a good gun for deer?
It is a good shooting and well balanced gun. It will kill deer or even larger game, but must be hit in a vital spot. Few of us are sure of breaking the shoulder of a running deer at 200 yards, or even less than that distance. I would advise you to get a rifle with double the striking energy for deer or similar game, preferably a 30-30 or a 35 Auto-loading Remington.
