.32 Caliber Rim Fire-Can the .32 caliber rim fire cartridge be had loaded with smokeless powder and greaseless bullet, the same as the .22? In the Marlin catalog is a description of the .32 Short, rimfire cartridge, followed by the statement: This cartridge is loaded with smokeless powder. I have a U.M.C. catalog and they list the .32 rimfire loaded with smokeless powder, that is cataloged by the W.R.A. Co. is the .32 Extra Short. If there really are .32 Short or .32 Long rimfire cartridges with smokeless powder, I think that they would be far more satisfactory than the others, which foul the gun badly.
There is no .32 caliber rimfire, smokeless cartridge made, that I know of, except the .32 Extra Short, made for the old, watch-shaped Protector revolvers. It may be that they were made at one time, but I am sure that they are not made now. Center fire .32 caliber cartridges may be had loaded with smokeless powder.
