The .22 Stevens-Pope Armory cartridge is made by the Peters Cartridge Co., and is loaded with semi-smokeless powder, the charge and the weight of bullet being the same as in the .22 long rifle, in fact it is the same as the .22 Long Rifle cartridge, except that the shell is crimped on the bullet, while that of the 22 Long Rifle is not. This makes it better for use in repeating rifles than the regular .22 long rifele and it is the equal of that cartridge in all other ways, also.
