.22 Short and Long Rifle-I notice that you do not recommend using .22 Shorts in a rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge; in a rifle so chambered would any harm result from the use of the .22 Long?

I am not a friend of the .22 Long and have never done much shooting with that cartridge, so cannot say from experience whether it will injure a rifle chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge, but as the .22 Long does not fill the chamber completely I should think it would not be a good idea to use many of these cartridges.
