Keeping Your Carry Pistol from Rusting

I have cured a problem with my "In the Pants Holster". It is a synthetic, padded, cloth type and since I am very active my perspiration on occasion soaks through and condenses on my concealed pistol. To keep my pistol's finish safe from rust, I've started spraying the inside of the holster with aerosol gun oil. So far it hasn't soaked through onto my clothing. Surprisingly, it doesn't carry the gun oil odor for any length of time and it keeps my pistol safe from rust!
